situations where employees really didn't need a union. True, they were
very few and very far between. But maybe you're working in one of those
ideal situations.
You

are paid enough that the skyrocketing cost-of-living doesn’t

- You
never worry about your family's needs and future security.
- Your
job is secure enough to insure, for example that you'll be able to
help your kids through college.
- You've
got the perfect job; there's nothing about it you'd change even if
you had the chance.
- Your
boss treats you with all the respect you deserve.
- You
never have a complaint, and if you do, you never have to worry about
something happening, like being disciplined or getting fired, if you
speak up for your rights.
- Your
pay and fringe benefits are guaranteed in a written, legally binding
contract.
Those
are mighty big ifs, and
if these things are all true about your job, then you probably don’t
need a union, but it’s always worth checking out. If you truthfully
can’t say all of these things about your job you may need a union, and
if that is so…. We are the union for you.
